I sing as the cold droplets of water beat my skin one by one,
and when he arrives, my ears are numb and my voice is gone.
Only my sense of touch awakens to a new height,
as he hovers gently over my body; not missing a single pore,
though darkness blinds through the night.
I feel his power as I am stricken with fear but frozen with anticipation.
I try to shout but no one can hear,
for the King of the Ocean is near.
So i surround myself with salt and garlic when he leaves,
for there is magic in the Sea breeze.
For he is selfish and desires not only me but you too,
and my only saviour is a natural white and voodoo.
