‘MTN Hitmaker 8’ Grand Finale Comes Off This Saturday……. 4 Finalists to do battle for the Ultimate Prize!

After weeks of live eviction shows and performances in front of fans and judges, the final four of the MTN Hitmaker Season 8, Nessa, Kofi Pages, Ali Baba and Lasmid, will face each other at the final show to select the overall winner of the MTN Hitmaker for season 8 on Saturday 14th December 2019 at the Fantasy Dome, La. With gates open to the public at no charges, supporters of the contestants are are expected to show up in their numbers.
The overall winner will walk away with a Ghc 120,000.00      recording deal.

Each of the finalist have displayed their unique talents so far in the competition that has warranted their inclusion in the final four. Some of the descriptions of the judges during the previous weeks  of the competition gave evidence to this. “I think they are great singers but this time I can also hear great rappers”, said judge Kaywa. Another judge and renowned music producer Richie Mensah also said, “one thing I like about these contestants is that they are very confident and that is one of the very important attributes of great artistes.”  The four finalists, Nessa, Kofi Pages, Ali Baba and Lasmid, make an interesting mixture of 3 rappers and 1 singer. As mentioned earlier, some of the factors the judges will be using to measure the abilities of each contestant in the grand finale will be clarity, confidence and vocal ability. The contestants will also be expected to engage the audience as well.

The MTN Hitmaker reality TV show seeks to produce industry ready talents that have the undoubted ability to release song that can compete with songs from mainstream musicians in Ghana. Therefore, right from the beginning of the show, contestants performed their own songs to a live audience. They were also mentored by some of Ghana’s popular names in music production namely M. O. G. Beatz, Mix Master Garzy and Dj Breezy. The MTN Hitmaker TV Show is an annual talent show sponsored by telecommunications company MTN and produced by Charterhouse Ghana.
