A press release issued on the 10th of January 2020 from events company and franchise holders of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charter House Ghana, acknowledged the resignation of George Quaye and the new appointment of Robert Klah as the Head of Public Events and Communications of Charter House. However, the management of Charter House Ghana assured the public and stakeholders of the continuity of existing relationships and efficient services. The statement was issued by Effie Ansah from the Corporate Affairs Group of Charter House Ghana.
One of the popular faces in the entertainment industry in Ghana, George Quaye, has resigned from Charter House. An official statement by Effie Ansah from the Corporate Affairs Group of Charter House Ghana read, “Charterhouse Productions hereby announces for the information of the General public that Mr. Robert Klah is its new Public Events and Communication Manager. Mr. Robert Klah has more than seven years’ experience working with Charterhouse Events across various functions and brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. He takes over from Mr. George Quaye who no longer works with Charterhouse Productions. We wish to assure the public and our stakeholders of our continuous engagement.”
Mr. Robert Klah is also the founder and President of Ghana Dance Association. He is a well known personality in the area of dance in Ghana and has been a strong advocate for dance as a profession in Ghana. Last year, he led a team of Ghanaian dancers to compete in South Africa at an international dance championship.
