Charter House, an events company and franchise holders of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, on Tuesday 18th February 2020, gathered members of staff, Charter House Alumni, and guests, at what was dubbed ‘Charter House at 20 Homecoming’. The occasion was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company and thank all who had contributed to their success over the years. The Chief Executive Officer of Charter House Theresa Ayoade, said that Charter House wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for the support from their stakeholders. She added that a more detailed occasion will be set aside to appreciate all the stakeholders of the company like sponsors, corporate partners, and so on. She said this at the Charter House Head Office in Accra.
On Tuesday, Charter House opened its doors to special guests and the media to join them in celebrating 20 years of hard work and loyalty to the development of the arts and entertainment industry in Ghana. The Chief Executive Officer of Charter House Theresa Ayoade, said that it was an emotional but fulfilling journey for the team. “We have really done it from ground up. Sometimes, we sit back and look at what we have accomplished and say oh my God, thank you for what you have done. All what we did was come to work everyday and put in our 100% on the table. And, I believe that when you do that, God sees your effort and rewards it. So we are standing here now by the grace of God, hardwork, and also because of you. So, if Charter House stands this tall at 20 years, it is because we stood on shoulders as strong as yours”, she explained.
The Chief Executive Officer of Charter House Theresa Ayoade added that Charter House would hold another event to appreciate sponsors and other bodies that have supported them through the journey. “There would be another opportunity for us to really express our appreciation to our clients because without them we couldn’t have come this far”, she said.
The Founder of Charter House Iyiola Ayoade, was also thankful for the support the company has received over the years. He narrated some of his personal ordeals from when he was just a starter and said that it was all to the glory of God. He advised upcoming entrepreneurs to be focused, disciplined and persistent in their endeavours.
