Former ‘Big Brother Nigeria’ participant Tacha also known in real life as Natacha Akide, has responded to people she described as fraudsters who attempted to extort money from the entertainment personality by threatening to make public an edited naked photo of her. In a post 2 days ago on her Instagram page, her management stated that Tacha has never taken such photos and never will.
Ghanaian – Nigerian born beauty enthusiast Natacha Akide popularly known as ‘Tacha’, has issued a statement through her management on social media concerning what she described as a blackmail. The perpetrators attempted to used a false naked photo of Tacha which was created by photo editing according to Tacha. “Earlier today, we received a couple of mails from unknown blackmailed threatening to release pictures of our client Natacha Akide also known as ‘Tacha’. We want to let the public know that these pictures are edited and false pictures sent to blackmail our client in exchange for some money. Natacha Akide does not have and will not have such pictures taken of herself under any circumstances”, the post read.
Through her management, Tacha acknowledged that these were hard times, nevertheless, she admonished the public not to allow the situation to push them into committing a crime. “We understand that this is a difficult time for most people, but let’s also be human and desist from any form of extortion such as blackmail or even theft as we continue to fight Covid – 19”, the post read.
During the early period of the curfews in Nigeria as a preventive measure to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus, Tacha was one of the celebrities who donated money randomly to underprivileged people to help them sustain their livelihood as numerous businesses and places of commerce were indefinitely closed down.
