The Sales and Marketing Manager of the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra Joseph Annan Sackey announced that a special buffet would be organized on Sunday 21st June 2020 in honour of Father’s Day. He advise interested persons to book in advance as there would be a 100 persons’ limit on accommodation; which is in line with the national directive on precautionary measures against the spread of the Coronavirus in Ghana. He stated this during the official reopening on Tuesday.
Despite preparing to celebrate Father’s Day today, the Sales and Marketing Manager of the Golden Tulip Hotel Joseph Annan Sackey, said that this is will not be an excuse to let their guard down in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic. “This Sunday, we celebrate Father’s Day. But, we have space for only 100 people, and so we will only admit the first 100 people as we are strictly observing the Covid -19 safety protocols. So, this is out to the public, if you really want to enjoy our Sunday Father’s Day special buffet, it is better you book now, because we would not be able to accommodate any bookings once we hit our limit”, he explained.
The Golden Tulip Hotel reopened for business on Tuesday and has put in place saftey measures to protect both guests and staff at the hotel. Some of which include sanitizers at entry and exit points in the hotel, floor demarcations with arrows to direct guests in order to avoid guests from running into each other, visible pictorial signs illustrating social distancing, containers to sanitize used pens by guests and staff with visible labels to show differentiation of used and sanitized pens, and even the provision of new face masks at the main entrance for each guest; despite having their own face mask.
