The founder of the event Kofi Mulan, said that this was the beginning of an exciting journey in entertainment in the Tertiary community in Ghana.

The Founder of the Tertiary Entertainment Awards Kofi Mulan, has expressed his satisfaction at the first ever ‘Tertiary Entertainment Awards’ in Ghana. He disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Shine Publications today. ” I was amazed at the impressive turn out, plus,  the support was really great. I say thank you to all who came to support the movement. Entertainment is a great source of revenue to the Ghanaian government, but we lack alot of structures. Therefore, the aim of this event is to recognize and reward young talents in various tertiary institutions and catapult them into the main stream entertainment industry”, he said.

Awards were presented to winners and photos were taken into the late hours of the night due to the excitement among winners and well wishers.

Some notable Ghanaian celebrities in attendance were Actors Peter Ritchie, Vicky Zugah, Anthony Woode, Jeffrey Nortey and others. Also present were filmmaker Kyei Baffuor, First Runner -Up for Miss Malaika Ghana 2019 Mbord, and Former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Rachel Nana Adwoa Appoh.
