The Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra, after resuming operations a few months ago after the Presidential directive to shut down all hotels, has commenced a buffet of assorted Ghanaian dishes which comes off every Sunday. According to management, the initiative is to encourage Ghanaians to patronize such services as this was a way to revive the ailing tourism industry amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Management stated this yesterday in a phone interview with Shine Publications.
The management of the Golden Tulip Hotel, is committed to boosting domestic tourism in Ghana by making available a variety of Ghanaian dishes every Sunday at their regular Sunday Brunch which is open to the public. Management has explained the motivation for this initiative. “We know Ghanaians love their local dishes and so this is a way of giving Ghanaians what they love with world class services in a safe environment. Also, we believe when Ghanaians begin taking timeout of their busy schedules to relax and enjoy some of the good things in life, domestic tourism would receive a significant boost”, they said.
Ghanaian cuisine such as ‘Fufu’, ‘Aprapransa’, ‘Banku’, including a variety of Ghanaian soups, comprise the long menu of the Golden Tulip Hotel’s Sunday Brunch. With a very welcoming staff, patrons are treated to the best dishes money can buy every Sunday in Accra with strict Covid – 19 safety measures.
