The second edition of the annual Ghana Film and Television Awards scheduled to come off on 27th March 2021, has began calling for submissions for possible nominations. The organizer, the Film Crew Association of Ghana (FiCAG) which is a body that sees to the welfare of film and audiovisual practitioners in Ghana, stated in a press release a few days ago that, submissions for the Ghana Film and Television Awards 2021 can be made via their official website only with effect from 26th October 2020. The Public Relations Officer Kwasi Bosiako Antwi stated that this year’s edition will not only reward industry stakeholders, but also foster healthy business relationships.
The Public Relations Officer of the Film Crew of Ghana (FiCAG) Kwasi Bosiako Antwi, described the purpose of this year’s event as an improvement from last year. “The second edition will not only seek to reward industry top players but, also empower, connect and facilitate job and market opportunities for practitioners though its numerous networking, educational and entertainment activities that involve key decision makers and influential businesses within the Ghana Film and Television industry”, he said.
FiCAG is one of the officially recognized associations for all film crew members in Ghana and is represented on the Board of the National Film Authority.
