The winner of Miss Ghana 2020 beauty pageant Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui, a few days ago in a live video chat on social media, said that she was going to take a break from her modelling career. Even though she did not say why, she added that she would return to professional modelling as soon as her reign as Miss Ghana 2020 was over.
Monique Agbedekpui recently interacted with her fans on social media platform Instagram and answered questions about herself and her experiences as the reigning Miss Ghana. Also as professional model, it may have come as a surprise to many of her fans when she said she was going to take a break from what she loved doing. “I have actually paused modelling for a while, but will go back after my reign as Miss Ghana”, she said.
The beauty Queen added that she was still passionate about modelling. “I actually miss runway modelling though”, she said. Monique Agbedekpui won the award for ‘Runway Model of the Year’ in 2020 at the Ghana Models Awards. She commenced her modelling career at the Exopa Model Agency and has since been an active player in the modelling industry in Ghana.
