Ghanaian Rap Icon Sarkodie surprised many on Saturday in Accra at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when he came unannounced to perform a song in remembrance of the late musician ‘Castro’. And, this year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday in Accra, during a musical tribute to the late Castro, Sarkodie surprisingly walked on stage to brief perform his verse on a Castro feature with fellow musician Kurl Songx.
Sarkodie and the late Castro composed arguably the biggest hit song of Sarkodie’s music career ‘Adonai’. The video for Adonai has surpassed 80 million views on YouTube and still growing. Castro died some years ago by drowning in a river whiles on holiday in Ada; a town in the Greater – Accra Region.
