Yesterday at the official launch of the ‘TECNO Phantom X’ phone at the Grand Arena in Accra, the National Dealer for TECNO Ghana Daniel Glover, stated that the sole distribution agent and managing company of TECNO and TECNO products in Ghana ‘Mobile Zone’, have indeed come along way and are still very committed to growing the TECNO brand and delivering quality service and products to their customers. He said ‘Mobile Zone’ was loyal to the very hands that brought them this far and committed to continuing the mutual partnership between them and the Ghanaian people. He cited as an example, the refusal of ‘Mobile Zone’ to lay off Ghanaian workers or even decrease their salaries during the Covid -19 pandemic; despite the fact that this was the norm across Corporate Ghana. Daniel Glover was assuring the audience at the event of ‘TECNO Phantom X’ launch of their unflinching determination to remain as a top brand and surpass future customer expectations.
On behalf of the Managing Director of ‘Mobile Zone’ Dr. Maxwell Techie, National Dealer for TECNO Daniel Glover, said that Mobile Zone has been committed to excellence; even during the Coronavirus crisis. “Since the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, many businesses have been destroyed, and may have also laid off their staff. Even, where staff were not laid off, their salaries were reduced. However, ‘Mobile Zone’, did not layoff any staff. Neither, did we reduce their salaries; even while they were under ‘lockdown’. Every staff received their full salary, and this tells you the determination of this company which continues to stand out among its peers…”, he said.
Daniel Glover, on behalf of the TECNO Brand and its managing company ‘Mobile Zone’, expressed the company’s appreciation towards the staff and other stakeholders. “TECNO Ghana couldn’t achieve all of the laurels spoken in the above without the mention of our valued customers such as, our agents, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and others; including those who patronize our products for your personal use, we are grateful. We are also grateful to all the staff and management at ‘Mobile Zone’ and of TECNO Ghana for the dedication to work and the sacrifices, that they have made for the company to attain all that we are celebrating today, we say ayekoo”, he said.
Mobile Zone has been the sole agent of TECNO products in Ghana and has had this partnership since 2006. Dr Maxwell Techie has been an active investor in the TECNO brand in Ghana for over 15 years and has managed to dilute the perception that all phones from China are of inferior quality. This is seen clearly in the significant number of Ghanaians who are now using TECNO products all around Ghana.
The launch of the new TECNO Phantom X builds anticipation for an affordable and durable phone with premium features advanced than the competition. An anti – scratch back, 50 mega pixels camera, long lasting battery beyond the average phone, a high resolution with lighting specially built for night photography, are just a few of the many exciting features of the new TECNO Phantom X. The Flagship Phone of the TECNO brand ‘TECNO Phantom X’ is currently on Pre – order and will be available nationwide soon.
