The maiden edition of Miss Cocoa Ghana Pageant successfully came off on Saturday 8th January 2022 at the Exopa Burg, La in Accra. The Chief Executive Officer of ‘Miss Cocoa Ghana’ Princess Dede Tetteh said the main purpose of the Pageant was to shed some light on the importance of Agriculture using Cocoa as a major area among the youth. She stated this in an exclusive online interview with Shine Publications today.
After weeks of activities, the Grand finale of Miss Cocoa Pageant came to life. The Chief Executive Officer of Miss Cocoa Pageant and former representative of Greater – Accra Region at Ghana Most Beautiful Pageant last year, Princess Dede Tetteh, explained what the Pageant was about. “The purpose of Miss Cocoa Ghana is to help bring out the great potential in young females and also enhance the importance of agriculture and Cocoa productivity in Ghana”, she said.
Angela Apiaah Eshun emerged the overall winner in the fierce competition of 6 finalists on Saturday. The other runners – up were Mercy Ofosu (2nd Runner – Up) and Millicent Hilda Bonney (1st Runner – Up). The went home with prizes such as electronic appliances and also ambassadorial deals.
Other guests at the event were Comic Actor Clemento Suarez, other queens from the Ghana Most Beautiful Pageant, previous winners of Mr and Miss Senior High School, among others.
Miss Cocoa Pageant is aimed at becoming a annual Pageant on the Ghanaian calendar as the C.E.O Princess Dede Tetteh promises a more rewarding event come next editions.
