The organizing company of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Charterhouse’, has issued a press statement inviting qualified stakeholders of the music industry in Ghana to submit their works released in 2021 for possible nomination at this years event. This time, all nominations are to be submitted via the official website of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The statement was released today and signed by the Head of Public Events and Communications at Charterhouse Robert Klah.
The road to Ghana’s Longest running annual entertainment event, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has been officially opened to the public with about a one month period within which stakeholders, including the wide public, are to submit their works in 2021.”Calling out to all artistes, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, music producers, other music industry stakeholders and the general public, that nominations for participation in the 23rd annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are officially open”, the statement read.
A press release from the organizing company detailed some facts about the process.”Kindly note that only published works in the year 2021 will be accepted. Thus, all works from January 1st to December 31st, 2021 should be submitted via our online portal at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com There shall be no manual submissions. Deadline for submissions is Friday, February 18th 2022″, the statement read.
This would be the first time the organizing company of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is restricting submissions for nominations to online portals. But, this may come at no surprise to many as this has become a necessary step to slow down the infection rate of the deadly Covid-19 in Ghana.
