Participants of a special music video production workshop organized by 3Music Awards, will get the opportunity to produce a new music video for award – winning Singer Adina Thembi. This is part of a collaborative effort between 3Music Awards and the Singer to socially impact the society through music. According the the management of 3Music, the initiative was influenced by this year’s theme ‘Music For Good’. Adina Thembi expressed her excitement during a recent interactive session with the trainees in Accra.
Singer Adina Thembi was excited about shooting a music video with the workshop participants for her single ‘Game Over’ from her album ‘Araba’. During the workshop with the trainees, she said the initiative would be beneficial to Ghanaian music at large. “I feel excited about the project. When 3Music briefed me about their intentions, I said ‘why not?’ Obviously, this is a really bold initiative designed to drive Ghanaian music. I am glad to be involved; as long as it’s propelling talent and, you know, basically helping others achieve their dreams”, she said.
The video, will be shot by all ten participants of a 5-day music video workshop put together by 3Music and sponsored by digital television company HD+. According to the management of 3Music, the video will be premiered during the main night of the 5th annual 3Music Awards on on March 26, 2022 at the Grand Arena.
The music video workshop is the first of several industry development projects initiated by the 3Music Awards to offer professional and leadership training within the music and entertainment industry.
Adina’s Game Over, off her Araba album, was selected to impact practical training to participants in music videography, entrepreneurship and business management.
The 3Music Awards has built a reputation for supporting the marginalized in music show business; including representing and recognizing women and other overlooked areas in music.
